Terms of Use (EULA)

By downloading, installing, or using FlashCardFlipper, you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

1. License Grant

FlashCardFlipper grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the application on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. User Content & Local Data Custody

Intellectual Property: You retain complete ownership over all study text, audio recordings, and images created or imported into the application.
Compliance: You agree not to store or distribute content that violates applicable laws or infringes on third-party copyrights or intellectual property.
Backup Responsibility: Because data is stored strictly in your local device SQLite storage, you are responsible for making regular CSV backups using the built-in export tools.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

FlashCardFlipper is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that operation will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future operating system versions without updates.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of FlashCardFlipper be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the application, including data loss resulting from device replacement, OS upgrades, or accidental local deletion.

5. Apple Minimum Terms

These Terms are concluded between you and the developer, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the application or its content.
Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for FlashCardFlipper.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted to this URL with a revised effective date.
